Johnie and Michael Marcotte are the proud owners of Primrose Salon & Permanent Makeup. The business was officially open on November first of 2024. Johnie has been licensed as a cosmetologist since 2015. She mentioned that when she was 9 years old and asked to cut her moms hair was the beginning of her adventure and she’s never looked back. Primrose Salon got its name from Johnie’s mother who has since passed. Primrose is the birth flower of her mother Pam.
Family and faith are the most important things to the Marcottes. When opening the business came to fruition, the Marcottes were very forward that glorifying God and following their Christian principles would be central to their operation. It is their firm belief that Christ saves people from their sins through his death, burial, and resurrection to make them right with a good and holy God- and their hope for their community to know this truth as well. Additionally, owning a small business has allowed them to prioritize their four sons, Jaxin, Perrin, Calvin, and Bennett while simultaneously impacting their community.

Johnie hopes that when people come into her salon they can grow and prosper. She wants the customers and workers to be happy and enjoy coming into the salon. She will thrive to make the salon a staple in the community. Johnie and Michael also want their kids to grow.
