Industrial Control Engineering rebrands to Morton Electric
As we continue to grow and better serve our customers, we’re excited to announce that Industrial Control Engineering (ICE) is rebranding as Morton Electric.
Founded in 2003 by Brad Morton, ICE was built on a foundation of industrial automation, controls engineering, and high-performance electrical systems. From early work supporting Caterpillar’s mining truck production to delivering advanced control systems across multiple industries, our mission has always been the same: deliver reliable, high-quality electrical solutions that improve performance and efficiency.
Why the change?
The transition to Morton Electric reflects who we are today and where we’re going. Our focus is expanding to provide high-level electrical support for industrial, automation, and high-tech manufacturing customers. This includes advanced controls, power distribution, and full-service electrical support for complex facilities.
At the same time, our commitment to renewable energy remains strong—just with a clearer
focus.
● Morton Solar will continue to serve residential customers, delivering solar and battery storage solutions that provide homeowners with energy independence and long-term savings.
● Morton Electric will focus on industrial, automation, and commercial energy solutions, including electrical contracting, controls engineering, and larger-scale solar and storage applications.
This rebrand allows each division to better serve its audience while staying rooted in the same values that have guided us from the beginning: quality, reliability, and innovation.
