Jenny Budde and her husband Corey Budde are the owners of Jenny’s Mini’s Mini Donuts. They officially opened their donut food trailer in 2023. They had the trailer customized and built in Georgia with their ideas and specifications in mind. The name “Jenny’s Mini’s” came to fruition when Jenny looked at her 4 daughters and imagined them helping her in the food truck. She stated that it’s always been her dream to have her daughters in the food truck helping her in the carnival field.
Jenny’s Mini’s Mini Donuts is currently serving 7 counties in Southern Illinois with Wabash County being the first to kick off the season. They serve mini donuts in three different sizes with many specialty toppings. You can find holiday themed donuts at various times throughout the year as well.
Jenny became interested in the Food Truck Business after reading an article in 2003 that told the story of two brothers who were medical professionals and left their private medical practice to pursue the food wagon industry. The article told how much fun and success they had with their Carny Wagon career instead of the medical field. This was the spark to Jenny’s dream of one day owning her own food truck.
In 2009, she went to a county fair where she saw a food trailer for sale, and she saw it as a sign to start her Food Truck business which she had been thinking about since 2003. Jenny had 1 month to learn everything she could about the food truck and fair food before her first event under the name Jenny’s Concessions. In 2018, she upgraded the food trailer and name to the current trailer of Corey and Jenny’s All Time Favorites to include her husband and more food options.
Jenny has a passion for the food truck industry and has kept her Gram’s (Grandma) advice in mind since she started. Her Gram told her to “always use All Beef Ballpark Hotdogs for her homemade corndogs and to have a sugar free option for her Lemon Shake Ups”. Jenny still follows that advice today.
