At Community Church of God, you will find a community of Christ-centered people who are learning to live and love like Jesus. We do this by focusing on being with Jesus, becoming more like Him, and doing the things He did. We want to engage people where they are, share the truth and love of Christ through Biblical teaching and lived witness, create space for everyone to experience God’s life-changing grace, and serve others as He showed us how.
We value people of every age and background at Community. Our volunteers are dedicated to giving every child, student, and adult a place to belong, learn, and grow in the Kingdom. Sunday worship is at 10 am and prioritizes family worship. Just before the sermon, we dismiss children from preschool through 4th grade for a special Sunday teaching time. We also have an adult class that meets on Sundays at 9 am to study the Word together. Our midweek ministries on Wednesdays at 6 pm begin with music, prayer, and Scripture in the sanctuary before we break out into Bible study for every age, from nursery to adults. Additionally, our 6th-12th grade students meet on Sunday evenings at 5:30 pm to hang out, grow in the Word, and serve.
CCOG also places a priority on serving others, and you’ll find a variety of opportunities to participate in reaching a range of people in our larger community and beyond. We do this through ministries like the ATIC, Brown Bag Buddies, Operation Christmas Child, and more. We also have a vibrant Stephen Ministry, where loving caregivers regularly offer Christ-centered care to individuals who are experiencing life’s challenges. The body of Christ at Community is a growing group of people who are learning more about God’s love and working to demonstrate that love in daily life. The best way to understand what God is doing among us is to come and see for yourself. We’d love to have you join us!
