Mt. Carmel Animal Hotel & Spa first opened in 1975 as a veterinary hospital founded by Dr. Stetter and Mrs. Sharon Stetter-Shaw. In 2016, the business transitioned into Mt. Carmel Animal Hotel & Spa, reflecting Mrs. Sharon Stetter-Shaw’s adaptability, dedication, and enduring passion for animal care.
Over the last 50 years, they have employed more than 150 people. Several staff members remain with the company for five to ten years, and one employee has been part of the team for more than 25 years. With such a remarkable depth of experience, pet owners can feel confident that their furry companions will receive exceptional care and leave happy.
They offer attentive boarding for pets while their owners are away. The caring, experienced staff ensures that each pet receives individual attention, regular feeding schedules, and a safe, clean environment designed for their comfort. Dogs are provided time for exercise, while cats are cared for in quiet, secure spaces. Pets with special needs, including medication or specific feeding routines, can also be accommodated by the knowledgeable team. Pets are also monitored & protected by a 24/7 surveillance system.
In addition to boarding services, they offer grooming services which include bathing, brushing, dematting, haircuts, blow drying, nail trimming, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning.
