We are seeking an Aging Paraprofessional – Administrative Support to provide essential administrative assistance for agency operations, programs, and services that benefit older adults. This position plays an important role in supporting leadership, strengthening internal operations, and ensuring our agency continues to provide quality services to older adults throughout the community.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and CFO related to aging programs, agency operations, and organizational priorities.
- Assist with maintaining program records, documentation, spreadsheets, financial tracking tools, and reporting systems.
- Support data entry, reporting, filing, organization, and management of program information.
- Assist with fiscal-related duties, including reviewing documentation, organizing financial records, maintaining tracking spreadsheets, and supporting financial processes.
- Assist with communication, scheduling, coordination activities, and administrative tasks.
- Support special projects and daily operational needs that contribute to effective service delivery.
- Assist with tracking deadlines, preparing information, and organizing materials for agency activities.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy when handling client, financial, and program information.
- Support the agency’s mission of promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for older adults.
Qualifications:
- Commitment to serving older adults and supporting the mission of aging services.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret written instructions, policies, procedures, and basic financial information.
- Ability to assist with fiscal responsibilities and accurately maintain records and tracking systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, older adults, caregivers, community partners, and leadership.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn agency software and systems.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Schedule:
- Part-time position: 25 hours per week
- Four (4) days per week
- Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
- 6.25 hours per day × 4 days = 25 hours per week
- Position is primarily office-based and requires working onsite four days each week.
