After School Care Aides (2 Positions Available)
St. Mary’s Catholic School is looking for two caring, dependable individuals to join our After School Care Program for the upcoming school year!
Our After Care Program provides a safe, welcoming environment where students can finish homework, play with friends, and enjoy fun activities while their parents finish the workday. This program is an important service for many of our school families, and we’re looking for compassionate people who love working with children to help make each afternoon a great one.
Position Details:
Location: St. Mary’s Catholic School
Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00–5:30 PM (school days)
Pay: Illinois Minimum Wage
Students: Preschool through 8th Grade
Responsibilities:
Supervise students in a safe and caring environment
Assist with homework as needed
Lead games, crafts, and other fun activities
Help with snack time and daily cleanup
Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all children
Qualifications:
18 years old+
Enjoy working with children
Dependable and responsible
Friendly, patient, and positive
Must successfully complete required background checks and fingerprinting
