The 2026 theme is “CELEBRATING 250 YEARS” We encourage the use of music, singing, Christmas lights, and even polishing up the old Jeep, tractor, or enchanted carriage! Whatever you decide to do, just make sure to HAVE SOME FUN!
NO SANTAS IN ANY FORM may be used in the parade. Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick himself will ride on the fire truck as the finale.
Also, in an effort to maintain the safety of our children, WE DO NOT ALLOW ANYTHING TO BE THROWN FROM THE PARADE ENTRY TO THE CROWD along the parade route. The committee encourages you to have WALKERS and HAND OUT ITEMS instead. Additionally, per City of Mt. Carmel ordinance, a cleanup crew must accompany ALL animals on city streets.
