FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CHAMBER DAYS
The Wabash County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the revamp and modernization of our street carnival that will be happening in Summer of 2025. Our planning committee has been working together to ensure an even bigger and better carnival while keeping all of our beloved fan favorites.
The dates for this year will be July 30, 31, August 1, and 2, 2025. We are still using the 300 + 400 blocks of Market street with a similar layout for food booths, games and rides. All entertainment will be at Merchants Park which helps the flow of the event and keeps congestions to a minimum.
What will be new?
- RIDES! We will be offering the same amount of rides but are working with a new company after the retirement of our previous Amusement Company.
- GAMES! You can expect some new and exciting games. Any local non-for-profit that would like to have a game can contact the Chamber Office before July 1st to get a discount on their booth space.
- NAME! Our new carnival’s name will be CHAMBER DAYS. We originally started in 1961 as Ag Product Days and were a 2-day steak dinner and eventually involved into “Ag Days”. We are now shifting to Chamber Days to better reflect what we are doing, which is a 4 day street carnival by the Wabash County Chamber of Commerce. If you still call it “Ag Days”, that is ok. We will know what you are talking about.
What will stay the same?
- You can expect the same affordable family fun as we will continue to offer
FREE Parking, FREE Admission, & FREE Entertainment
- Local Food Favorites: You can expect to see the same local food booth in the same spots as in past years. We have seen in increase in lunch time vendors the last couple years and will continue to post their hours of operation and means of payment accepted.
- Lemon Shake-Ups: The Chamber Office will still have the fan favorite LEMON Shake-Ups at 4th and Market Street.
- Tickets: We plan to keep each ride at one ticket per ride as it has been in the past. We are working together to keep the prices and tickets in line with what we have been doing in the past when at all possible.
As always, the Wabash County Chamber of Commerce is trying to plan a FUN & SAFE Event for our community. We appreciate everyone’s support during this time of change. Any suggestions can be sent to Lesley Hipsher at Ldhipsher@wabashcountychamber.com for the Planning Committees review.
